The RFP program helped me in putting my finances all together, tying it up one by one with a cohesive sensible financial plan. The RFP eight-week program is a must for financial planners. The program is well-organized, compact, and powerful. Educators give financial planners a good headstart. The materials are informative and easy to digest, which enables noveau financial planners the much needed connections among interrelated financial knowledge customized for the "wannabe" planners. RFP program is the much needed boost in giving financial planners confidence in fulfilling the mission of conscientiously uplifting the client's financial well-being in our own little way. Why did I enroll in the RFP class? I want to learn the practical approach in the financial planning process. Knowing various investment instruments available in the market. Applying techniques and strategies on how to leverage and how to gain returns based on one’s expectations. Able to understand the concept of time value of money, accumulation of wealth, estate conservation, and eventually distribution of wealth. Overall feedback is basically applying all the learning I’ve learned and be able to put on practice and hopefully earning from it. Lastly, is to be very confident to orient people in terms of investment and how to use money to work for them. Annalee de Guia, Pioneer Life Insurance |

The RFP program is one of the best programs I have ever attended as part of my desire for continuous learning and self-improvement. It has given me valuable information not only in investment planning but in all other subject areas of personal financial planning such as tax planning, retirement planning and estate planning. It has also helped me realize that if I wanted to achieve my personal goals in life, I would need to broaden my knowledge on how to plan and manage my personal finances in order to support those goals. I believe that the RFP Program is useful not only for practitioners in the financial planning field but even for individuals who want to know how they can achieve financial independence for themselves and for their families. At first, I was only persuaded by my friends to attend the class, but as time passed, I’m glad that I did register for this class. It helped me see and realize that there are many ways I can save and make my money grow where I can really enjoy it afterwards. I am also very impressed with the speakers because they are very successful in their field and still they take time to share things with the class. It makes us feel we can also be like them in time, where they make money work for them. I am so glad I attended all of the classes, that I didn’t miss any class. Maybe next time if I still have time I might attend again other classes related to this class. Irene Garcia, G Brokerage |

Having an academic background in Economics and a profession in Finance do not always guarantee that one’s management of one’s personal finances are perfect. Often, people like me who are in this situation get lost in the big picture. The RFP program has helped me zero-in on the rocks of my own knowledge of finance and economics and fill them with the right perspective when it comes to applying it in the individual practical level. Armed with the lessons the RFP lecturers have imparted on the class, I find that I feel more confident in my decisions – from small one’s like curbing an unnecessary expensive Starbucks habit, to big ones like obtaining life insurance and investing in the stock market. My goal in enrolling the RFP was to learn for my own life’s application, and in doing so, be able to help my friends and family who come for me for advice. Even with one more class still left, I feel that the program has already fulfilled its goal. Elizabeth Santiago, Abacus Securities Corporation |

I am very pleased that I have taken the RFP course, the modules discussed have given me a holistic view of what personal planning is all about. The speakers were great, very competent in their own fields, and most of all shared their practical and actual experiences in the field of finance. I am proud to say that I am now a financial planner and may now approach my clients with greater confidence. Thank you and more power to all. Lancero Perfecto, Philam Life |

The RFP program affirmed and bolstered my decision to pursue my mission of educating the Filipino Community, especially the OFW’s, Seaman and ordinary employees that the financial aspect of one’s life must be given proper attention to live a comfortable and stable life. I felt more confident after the RFP program because I can now speak with conviction that the class E & D can still get out of poverty if they can discipline themselves and eventually become educated investors. I share the same sentiments with the highly qualified speakers of RFP that financial education & literacy must be share to everybody willing to learn. Atty. Tina Navarro, Navarro Law Office & International Marketing Group |

The RFP program is a very good education mechanism which provides a big picture on money as a tool in each and every phase of a person’s life cycle. I am actually in a situation wherein I need to prioritize my finances and still have the same work—leisure balance that suits my personality and lifestyle. A highly recommended program for people who wanted to get more satisfaction and utility out of the money that we painstakingly earn. Neil Angelo Halcon, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas |

I was enticed to attend the RFP program because of my desire to gain more knowledge to equip me in becoming more effective in my job as fund manager of Corporate and Individual’s money. After attending the first few sessions, I came to realize that FP is not all about money. Instead, it's at the very least people – goals, priorities, even dreams. That’s why it made me more personal in dealing with my clients, especially those who are starting on building up their nest egg. On a more personal level, it made me realize the important of planning for a longer-term especially because I still have little kids. Even though I already started preparing for their education, I came to realize that it’s still enough. There are still a lot of things to consider and major changes in priorities should be made. Ma. Michelle SR. Valeriano, Sterling Bank of Asia |

The program is very comprehensive and concise. It has given me the necessary fundamental tools that will make me a good financial planner—even to myself. The program has also motivated me to strive further. Thanks to their dedicated lecturers who keep the fire of passion burning for those who want to have better quality lives. Ma. Socorro Garcia |

RFP made me think not for myself. I joined RFP for personal reasons; I wanted to fix my finances, learn how to make money and basically get out of poverty and be rich. But as I attended the classes, my eyes were opened by my teachers. I realize that learning finance and personal management is not all about me, it’s about other people, it’s about helping other people reach their financial dreams. I realize that on the big picture, helping every individual as an RFP will also help not only me but the country, the financial markets and the world. By helping others first, I will be able to help achieve the common good and achieve the symmetry in society. With this uplifting of people’s lives in the end, I will be able to help myself by making the financial markets depth and robust creating opportunities not only for me but also for everyone else. I’ve always thought that I have all my finances in check and that I was actually investing wisely however when I took the RFP course I realized that I still have a lot to learn. Some of my learnings are: 1) I thought I was saving 60-70% of my money however since I got expose to RFP, I started tracking my expenses and realized that I was spending more than my target savings. I could’ve still saved on some unnecessary expenses. 2) Part of my money was in 30-day SDA and even though I thought I was gaining, inflation is slowly killing my finances. I learned about putting an emergency fund and thought putting my money in bonds or securities. 3) I didn’t have a clue on estate planning until I took this course, now I realize the potential burck on my family’s financial estate long after my parents are gone. We ought to sit down and discuss one of these days. Initially, I thought I would take this course to help my friends and relatives in their finances but it worked out as a double-edged sword for me. Thank you RFP! Andrew Philip A. Wee, De La Salle University-Manila |

RFP is something you look forward to every Saturday. Attending each class and learning each module is like transcending from one’s comfort zone as you are presented with various perspectives and insights in the realms of financial planning. True enough, as one of our lecturers have quoted, “The more you know, the more options you have.” Indeed, RFP had not only broaden up my financial literacy horizon, but it also had me realize the value of what one can do, being financial literate in improving my financial health and in reaching others of similar disposition as well. Hence. I definitely recommend this program to young professionals as RFP serves a perfect growth for financial career advancement. Joyce Jardeleza, China Bank Savings, Inc. |

Every lesson in RFP has provided variable insights in planning better for one’s financial future. I like the analogy in our introducing module on seeing your financial snapshot the way you would a business enterprise. After all, the way we manage our finances should be done responsibly, seeking way to grow our assets and keeping our liabilities to the minimum necessary. The ultimate goal is to have a healthy and growing positive net worth. Part of being financially responsible is putting your “house” in order, i.e. ensure important documents pertaining to you assets are surely kept, in fire -roof vault. Ensuring that proper insurance planning has been put in place to handle the “unforeseen circumstances,” proper planning to safeguard the distribution of one’s assets and proper tax planning to avoid unnecessarily burdening those left behind. Financial Planning is a regimen you start with yourself which you eventually can share with others, when tou have crystallized its value and application to your own financial life.
